Bollix (Matthew 14:28)

Good morning ladies,

The word of the day is “bollix.”  This is just a really funny way of expressing when you mess things up pretty bad.  The Apostle Peter knew a thing or two about this very subject.  It always seemed as if he found a way to jack up a situation.  But the Lord did not disown him. Instead he built the church upon this guy.

“Lord, if it is you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”
~Matt. 14:28

Well, we know how that situation ended.  However, although Peter acted a bunch of the time before he thought stuff through, he always wanted to follow JC.  Here is my question: when is the last time you just went out and tried to do something cool for JC? Nevermind that you might bollix the whole thing… just get out there and do it.  My prayer is that each of you sees opportunity to follow God’s leading and act on those thoughts and feeling. Go out and mess it all up for the Lord. Be bold today!

Praying for you,

mo
