Ephemeral (Mark 1:35-37)

Good morning ladies,

The word of the day is "ephemeral.” Jesus was here on earth for only a short time; he understood the magnitude of his mission. There was really no reason for him to do anything else but what he came to do. I think that is why you may have been so focused. The time that he spent pouring into his disciples and investing in those who were hungry for the word was always top priority.

Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed. 36 Simon and his companions went to look for him, 37 and when they found him, they exclaimed: “Everyone is looking for you!”
~Mark 1:35-37

Could you imagine having the responsibility that Jesus did? I think you drive yourself nuts just in realizing the importance of your words, actions, and the way you spent your time. Time on this earth is ephemeral, for short-lived. Because you do not have all the time in the world, I would encourage you to revisit your priorities and make sure they are properly in line. My prayer is that each of you listens to the Savior for his plan to be revealed in your life.

Praying for you,

Mo
